  • A really good Thai place overlooking the Thames is called Thai on The River really good place, bit out of the way in Chelsea Wharf but worth going to if you like Thai, good service & good views.

Bit further outside West end of London
  • Camden Town : (word of warning, don't walk down the lock itself late at night, dark & dodgy, rest of the area very safe, our version of Greenwich Village really. World End (only open til midnight but good club next door open til 5) Mingling in the Stables Market, good bar to chill out in during day & early evening also a very good Thai restaurant. Dublin Castle - pub with live music up & coming bands, not the poshest place in London but down to earth! Barfly - another pub with live music Bartok - another pub (next door to Barfly) with live music)
  • Comedy Club Jongleurs in Camden Lock, much better than than one in Leicester Square as its not really touristy (Open til 2) Need to check what days they are open tel no 08700 111965
